And here, some questions to ponder...
Are you new?
all complex things are made up of simple parts. so if you are trying to become... relax and enjoy the ride one small step at a time or in other words... in real time as in now as in this is a process unraveling. we better get it, enjoy it while it's here. it's the closest thing we have to "real". if we could just bring what we have to this moment, then one day we would wake up to a new moment where we would have become gracefully refined. your desire to move in this way is the seed. consider it a gift. it contains everything you need to get to where you dream of going.
Are you experienced?
if you are doing something you already know, let yourself move in the direction that feels natural and authentic to you right now, rather than trying to borrow on something that worked for you yesterday.
Are you stuck?
if you are uninspired then search for a way to wake yourself up again. the clues are embedded in rocks and clouds and the old man walking down the street, but you may no longer be affected by them. so how do you get your soul sensitive to the world again? i think these are the main cuprits that gets things stale...
Judging yourself or others
This kind of negativity is very limiting... not helpful in getting back to the good place yet it happens. if there's a lot of judgement, it's time to go back inside to your core, your love, the expanse to get things lined up again.
<
p> Trying to look good.
Focus on what feels good instead, in this moment. Think about
what you can give, putting your heart and love in the forfront.
Not going all the way.
protecting yourself from falling on your ass is a sure way to close off the valve to the great expanse.
so, I just wante
d to say all that. dance is a beautiful metaphor for
all this gorgeous madness that is life. and of course such "wisdom" can only come from someone who struggles with this stuff.. yes, you guessed it, Me. more details below. love and inspiration to you and see you in class or at a show or through your speakers! Jennifer
ALWAYS A
NEW ROUTINE
There's a new routine taught each and every time we meet, so
people who are more advanced and new people to the class will
be pretty much be starting fresh with the routines broken down....
although I do have my vocabulary of moves that I'll use again
and again.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear comfortable clothing you can sweat in and supportive shoes..
like running shoes, cross training shoes.
IS THIS A
DANCE CLASS OR AN AEROBIC CLASS?
The class is definately
aerobic.. in other words hip hop is
pretty agressive form of dance, so you will get a workout, but
it's definately a dance class, but with momentum.
