F.A.T. 
The F.A.T. festival (Female Artists Tour), brings together some of the finest all-original, music.... spotlighting women artists from California and beyond. This event is organized and headlined by musician, Jennifer Terran, who's aim with the festival has been to create a supportive, loving network amongst Independent-women-music-makers world wide- and bring to audiences the beauty and power of Independent music and art.

Tokyo-born, Seattle-based guitarist/singer/songwriter, has recently released a CD, Blue Marble, on world-renowned Jazz composer/saxophonist, John Zorn's label, Tzadik, collaborating with musicians like Bill Frisell, DJ Olive, and Eyvind Kang. The CD has been distributed world-wide and is receiving many strong reviews in countries like England, France, Italy, Russia, Australia, Canada and Japan.

San Francisco pianist/singer/songwriter, Jill Tracy's song "Evil Night Together" was recently given the Grand Prize in the SIBL Foundation (Songs Inspired By Literature) International Competition, and has, as a result, received much attention in the press (NPR, USA-Today, among others).

F.A.T.'s Featured Artists:
The F.A.T. festival is headlined and organized by Jennifer Terran and has included many wondrous women music makers including Ellen Turner (Dudley), Teresa Tudory, The Mades, Samantha Newark, Jessica Tomich, poet- Josephine Hyde, Rebecca Wave, Janet Robin and others.

As well as being a singer-songwriter-pianist-recording artist, Terran is a a teacher of music in Santa Barbara and has been an instructor of hip-hop dance for the past fourteen years. She has released two independent CD's, CRUEL and RABBIT on her own Grizelda Records label and is currently in the process of making her third, a concept album titled, THE MUSICIAN, due in the fall of 2000. She has been featured live by Chris Douridas on KCRW's, Morning Becomes Eclectic; opened for artists including Lisa Loeb, Elliot Smith and Robben Ford and has produced concerts for bands such as Warner Brothers' Geggy Tah and Santa Barbara's own, The Transylvanian Mountain Boys.
